Hey folks, with the holidays coming around I was thinking of finally getting an Ipod Touch for myself. I could care less about the Iphone because I don't want to deal with AT&T's service and my current phone is fine.

I was wondering with the newest batch of updated models, should I go with the 8 or 32 Gig version? I plan on downloading a lot of different games to do reviews for along with the music so I want to make sure I don't fill it up too fast with the smaller 8 gig version. How big usually are the apps on the service? Do I even need to worry about filling it up?

My other question was on where to buy it. Should I just go to an Apple store, or should I go to another store that might have a better price and come with extra stuff like a case, headphones, ETC?

That's pretty much my main questions, so if you folks have anything else please let me know. Thanks!

I would get the 32 gig.

8 Gig is fine for just gaming but if you want some tunes and other apps you will fill it up quick.

The best price I have seen is usually your Costo/Sams Club place. They sell the 32 gig for about 275 or last year Target had a deal where you got the 32 gig for 299 but then a 25 dollar Target gift card.

I got mine last Christmas(32Gig 3g) and I have used it almost every day since for gaming, music, email, etc.

Awesome device.

The 8 Gig model was old hardware and couldn't play some games and such. Has that changed with the most recent models?

Get the 32GB model. I have the 8GB and I wish I would have spent the extra dough on the 32GB. 8GB's gets ate up quick.

You should definitely get one, I use mine all day long. Its really up to you what size you get. I have the 8 gig and it works fine for me. I have 5 pages of apps in it (including large games like need for speed and assassins creed), hours of audio, 10 tv shows, 2 movies and still have some free room. Unless you find a good deal, its pretty much the same price everywhere.

Get as many gigs as you can. I have an 8 gig iPhone, and it fills up very fast. Like Woody, I wish I'd spent the extra money up front and gotten the larger model.
