Hi Guys,

Thanks for the overwhelming response! I wasn't so sure that you would like it so much.

I went for the MV-1C because it takes carts vertically, and thus solving a lot of problem in designing the case. Most of the case is made from wood covered with black contact paper, as you can see the front side is an aluminium plate.

The top grey bit is a material which visually looks a bit like marble. Its called corion and its acrylic based. THis material is made by Dufour and is used for bathroom tops. Its quite heavy. A friend of mine who works with this kind of material made the top for me.

One thing that I kept in mind when designing the box is that its easy to replace the MVS board if something happens to it. I just unscrew the bottom, and exchange the motherboard (it uses a normal jamma harness inside). It came bigger than I planned, but thats ok.

Unfortunately I am not taking orders - this is a one off thing :) - but I hope some of you guys find it as a source of inspiration to create an even better looking one =^-^= !

Looks very nice!

If you can get us some more photos of it, including the inside, I can host a gallery for you at the SuperGun Repository.

That is a hell of a thing. Too bad your not thinking about taking orders for others. I want one with a LCD screen. Neo Geo on the go would be killer. buttrock

That is really nice. Top notch work indeed! It does indeed look like some cool retro console.

All these great supergun make me sad when i look at mine which is nothing but a power supply, jamma harness, and jrok sitting on a sheet of plywood.

It does look like a Gamecube. Kudos for what I'd say is one of the best looking consolized MVS's I've seen so far!

MY GOOD GOD THAT IS AWESOME!!!

Seriously that looks just incredible man, just top notch stuff.

Question for you: what'd you use for the video circuit? A JROK or are you a SCART bastard? :p
