Last weekend I picked up Fox1's Hyper 64 Road Edge cabinet. So now I have it at home in Seattle and I would like to put it back together.

<img src="http://home.comcast.net/~robert.wallace/Road_Edge.JPG" alt=" - " />

The parts are pretty much all here, I have the removable seat, the main cab with the monitor, the Road Edge game and a Hyper 64 PCB.

There was a big pile of wires on the inside of the cab that was not really hooked up to anything.

I have not rummaged through it yet but I do have a Jamma Harness, New Peter Chou Power Supply, Isolation Transformer and all the power wires, and a big o'l pile if misc. wiring.

I need to find the manuel for the Hyper 64 PCB or at least one for the Road Edge Game itself.

For starters I want to get the proper power supply with correct voltage...etc... hooked up to the Jamma Harness.

And then I will hook up the monitor...R,G,B,ground,H-SYNC.

The Hyper 64 PCB has alot of wire out puts that go to many different buttons and controls like the steering wheel, high/low gear, brake, gas, and there are 6 view buttons.

My camera seems to have been banged up pretty good while I was driving back from San Fran so I am unable to take any pics of the restoration.

If anyone has any information regarding these Hyper 64 PCB's I can use some help. Mabey someone can at least scan a manuel of a different Hyper 64 PCB so I can get started with the power hook up.

Thanks,
Robert

Robert,

The link that chris1 gave you is for the fighter boards. And it is my understanding that it will be no good for you since the Hyper fighter and driving boards are two different monsters.

I am not sure if this would work, but you can try contacting video connection, <a href="http://www.videoconnect.com" target="_blank">http://www.videoconnect.com</a> and phone: 1-800-444-6854. They used to have for sale a Road's Edge cabinet similar to yours, so I guess that you can give them a call and ask them if they have a manual for sale.

If it doesn't work, then try <a href="http://groups.google.com/groups?oi=djq&as_q=&as_ugroup=rec.games.video.arcade.marketplace" target="_blank">http://groups.google.com/groups?oi=djq&as_q=&as_ugroup=rec.games.video.arcade.marketplace</a> and <a href="http://groups.google.com/groups?oi=djq&as_q=&as_ugroup=rec.games.video.arcade.collecting" target="_blank">http://groups.google.com/groups?oi=djq&as_q=&as_ugroup=rec.games.video.arcade.collecting</a>
Just post there what you need, and I bet someone will have it.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, it is a completly unique wirring from the MVS style Fighting Hyper 64 boards. You will need to get the Driving manual.... Video Connections or CoinopExpress are good places to try. That is a very rare kit... get it working and you have quite the unique cab on your hands... can't... well, you could always turn it into a Neo Drift Out cab wink

Thanks for the link and info., If I can just get the information on the power supply requirements I should be able to figure the rest out on my own.

The monitor and stereo wires from the Jamma Harness are pretty much a given, and the only things left are basic controls, which is just a matter of testing everyone out with a test switch.

Finding any type of manuel for this cab or game would be very nice to have anyhow.

I am planning on installing my 2 slot board in the cab also, I have a set of extension cables for my joysticks so it will be a dual purpose cab once finish this.

Thanks,
Robert
