Neo Gatherings in the Carolinas?

After seeing a lack of Carolina talk here, I thought I'd set up this thread. Who are some other Carolina based SNKers? I'm in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina. I would love to discuss Neo meetups!

A lot of people I know from North / South Carolina anime conventions are into fighting games and love SNK. I hope we find others from this site in the Carolinas though!

Fayetteville NC here

Hey Newb to the site but im a long time SNK fan . I also collect other arcade games
I mainly like Shumps but also play alot of fighters. Picking up my first SNK candy in a few days and hope to do some meetups in the future.

I'm in Charleston, just moved here in the last year from Fargo, ND. Running a 4slot cab in my apartment but do plan to mame it in the coming weeks as parts are on the way. I'm not going to lie its mainly to play neo-geo games that I can't afford. Love me a good 2d or 3d fighter and would love to meet some people that share a similar hobby.

I'm in Charleston, just moved here in the last year from Fargo, ND. Running a 4slot cab in my apartment but do plan to mame it in the coming weeks as parts are on the way. I'm not going to lie its mainly to play neo-geo games that I can't afford. Love me a good 2d or 3d fighter and would love to meet some people that share a similar hobby.

I'm in Charleston pretty regularly since that's where my girlfriend lives. It would be great to hang out on a Saturday sometime! I could slog a few carts over

Well Saturdays can be a bitch because currently I'm working as a cook at a resort. Just finished my Mame conversion so no carts needed but of course I now have every snk game. I do have 10 carts and a spare 4slot, if you are interested let me know but other then that lets figure it out, I'm always down to meet new people.

Sounds pretty cool! I do a lot of anime conventions in the Carolinas and love meeting other fighting game fans that way. Doing Neo Geo / fighting game / arcade / whatever type meetups would be cool as well.

Yeah, I'm here also. I would not say we have N-G meets, but we do get together from time to time to play games. Now that summer is here, more cook-outs!

I know I'm throwing down at my place July 3rd, but sadly, the 4-slot needs a new fly-back and I've been lazy (plus I have a FZ-1 so I can get my Neo fix). Feel free to PM me if your interested in coming in to Winston for the all day cook-out.

fuchikoma - I know a lot of fighting gamers from various anime conventions. Maybe if you went to Animazement in Raleigh, I'd introduce you to a lot of locals.

Gohan - if time ever allows you to do, there's some Greensboro NC meetups from what I understand.

I'm located in Raleigh, Would love to get together even in SC, wouldn;t need much advance notice. Very happy to see neo fans in the Carolinas. I've got an astro city with a 1 unibios'd 1 slot (not very mobile) and an Analogue Interactive "Woody" CMVS (Very Mobile).
