Matrimelee MVS request

Just wondering if a helpful person with both a digital camera and a copy of MVS Matrimelee could snap a couple of shots of their legit boards and post em. Just trying to confirm the originality of my own copy and it would be nice to set a precedent for all those Neo fans planning on buying this title.

Damn, I'd do it, but I no longer have a digital camera... I need to go out and get a new one. Anyway, it doesn't look any different on the inside than most MVS games. All solid chips with "266" printed on them, no EPROMS in my copy, no socketed roms of Flash RAM. wink If you have a digital camera I can take a look at yours and compare, but that is the best I can do right now... sorry,

Did you get your Matrimelee from Cosmicco John? That's were mine came from, and it seems legit to me... no eeproms, and all the chips are numbered etc.

Hey Kaz! Yeah sure did. I'm almost positive that mine's all legit too but I just can't believe I got it for such an awesome price when a lot of outlets are still offering it for up to US$350 so I thought I'd just make sure. Cosmicco rock big time!! Also, is this the kit you got from Cosmicco as my fliers etc are all in english!!???

Cosmico will not sell you a bootleg with out you knowing it, they are ACE sellers. If they said it was original, I can tell you it is original without even looking. I have never once gotten a bootleg from them on ANYTHING I bought, and I bought a lot!

My cart came with an English label, but the flyer/stickers are all in Japanese... are the Japanese carts supposed to have an English label? Also, my carts serial is 00071, while the box says 00070... but nevermind, doesn't really matter. I'm mainly bothered that the cart is not a bootleg (which it isn't) and that it works ok (which it does ).

Nruva: it's a great game, I love it! It was you that convinced me to buy it in another forum thread a while back in fact I've been playing it to death lately and I'm in the process of writing a review. Check your private messages cos I have a quick question for you

Yeah it was a cool guy that helped me get it from Cosmicco... now who was that loco loco loco

It was worth the money in my eyes, but not everyone would necessarily feel the same. It depends... did you enjoy playing RotD? And do you like the craziness of Waku Waku 7? If your answer to both of those questions is yes, then the chances are you will love Matrimelee. One thing I will say though, although it is similar, it does play a lot better than RotD.

You could always wait a bit longer, as the price will drop down more, but I'm not sure how much more. Why not give teh romz a try in the meantime, just to get an idea of what the game is like?

It's really a great game, sure it is not on the same level as say Real Bout 2 or SS, etc... but it is a very competent fighting game, it is crazy Japanese super fun time, and has excellent music and characters. I think it is one of the best Neo releases in many years,

Yup, agreed 100% Probably some of the best cash I've spent on a Neo game for a long time, even though it probably is the most I've spent on a single title.
