sound problem

hello. i brought fatal fury special and after putting it in my 4 slot it has sound problems. the graphics are good, the sound affects are good but music is all crackly. what causes this and how can it be fixed

All your problems are contact problems. Like I said you need to clean the slots with Deoxit-D5. Use a credit card and wrap it with a cloth with some rubbing alcohol. You can even use paper and fold it to about the thickness of a MVS pcb put some rubbing alcohol on it and keep inserting it and removing it from the slot.

all my other games work fine except this one. i've put it in every slot and its the same crackly music.

If the pins are clean the check the solder joints for the V and M chips.
