Are there ways to use the AES joysticks on a computer? The plug-in looked familiar, but do you need to convert them at all?

You know I could flame this thread, but it would be so easy it's not even worth it...

What a pity...looks like you're going to have to give up emulation exclusively and experience the realization of an MVS or Home System..

POST COUNT is a dead giveaway..another clue was that he's already damaged three arrow keys...just a lil' sarcasm going on.. nobody is being too harsh.

So, are there faq's telling me how to make the interface?

You may want to goto the WANTED section and be able to pick up one for cheap or hire somebody to build you one.
I'm not familiar with any FAQ's but I know of few who have built them.. I may even need one in the future for sprite ripping etc.

you could build an adapter without destroying a fine pad . Head over to http://documents.epanorama.net/documents/joystick/pc_circuits.html and follow the instructions how to build an atari->pc adapter (which is similar). Found it yesterday, tried it today, works. Of course you have to use the neo-pinout instead of ataris
