I AM NOT THE MOST INTELLIGENTEST IN THE WORLD AT TIMES......SO I WONDER, WHY MUST ONE OR THE OTHER DIE WHEN PERFORMING A CART CONVERSION?

BY THIS I MEAN, COULDNT THE CHIPSET OF THE OTHER CART BE SOLDERED BACK ONTO THE MIRROR?

IE JUST SWAP THE CHIPS.......THEORETICALLY THATD MAKE SENSE.....BUT PEOPLE WOULDNT BE KILLING CARTS IF THIS WAS THE CASE.....I MEAN, ITD BE A SENSLESS WASTE.......
AS A GAMER THE WASTE MAKES ME SICK.....

COULD ANYONE WHO KNOS PLEASE SPELL OUT WHY THIS ISNT POSSIBLE?
IM SURE THERES GOOD REASON.......

FURTHER MORE, THE EXCUSE OF LESS RAM ETC COULD EASILY BE CONQUORED BY KEEPING THE BOARD AND CHIPS (ASSUMING THE PERSON WOULD DO A FEW CONVERSIONS) AND THE "SPARE PARTS" USED ON THEIR MINIMAL COUNTERPARTS.......

HELL IF PEOPLE WANT TO GET RID OF THEIR CHIPS AND BOARD, I KNO SOMEONE WHO MAY WANT TO PLAY WITH EM http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/wink.gif
