It's really hard to get one of those cabs in Europe, unless you are willing to pay outrageous shipping costs (and that if the seller agrees). I would suggest getting a regular cab at:
<a href="http://www.vektorlogic.com/sale.htm" target="_blank">http://www.vektorlogic.com/sale.htm</a>
as they are in UK (lucky you, if we had something like that in Spain or I lived in UK I would consider getting one, if it wasn't that I don't have room for it...)

Lurker revealed.

I mailed Vecktorlogic awhile back about jap sit down cabs and the guy said he was thinking about getting some in - third quarter 2002.

Plus <a href="http://www13.brinkster.com/arcadegameuk/" target="_blank">Videotronics</a> have a poll up asking if anyone is interested in aquiring a Jap cabinet.

This poll has been up two months now.

Would Videotronics partner and board member Andy Geezer like to comment on the state of play.

I plan to talk to Jeff Ferrier (vektorlogic) to get some Japanese sit-down cabinets imported in last Quater of this year, we've been running a poll at Videotronics, but the results are not accurate, to be honest it was done as a 5 minute test.

As for prices this will depend, it won't be as cheap as buying a sit-down cab in the US, due to the following:

1) We live in a more expensive country with higher tax rates.

2) We use 220-240VAC, so the machines will all need to be fitted with 7000ma 220-110VAC step-down transformers.

3) Coin mech/credit board (once again these will be programmed to the Yen coin format), either replacing those or scraping coin operation (the latter is the prefered choice, coin mechs/credit boards are expensive).

4) Anybody expecting anything cheaper than £300, can look elsewhere.

If we decide to-do it, there might have to be a deposit system, first come, first served.

I will create a dedicated website closer to the time..

Thanks, Andy

£195 for a 6-slot?? Jesus! If only I had the room!!

I might not even need to sell my AES collection afterall! :) - I might as well though when I can make some profits out of it whilst buying all my carts in MVS format again.

Ahh! Trying to collect all the Neo games on MVS is going to be soooo much easier and cheaper. I love the MVS and I don't even have one yet!

That sounds promising, I hope it goes through.
