Looks like they're bringing back the extended screen with this version of Darius. What's making me wonder is if this is going to be a 4 player version of Darius Burst.

I'd like to see a return of the classic Darius and other 3 monitor style games of the past as they can do them easily with the extra-wide screens of today. The good old days of Ninja Warriors, Tecmo Bowl and TX-1...ah.

My first thought upon seeing that thing was that exact point. If there was even a minor curve inward on that screen I bet it'd help a lot but doesn't look like that is the case.

I've been hearing nothing but good things about Darius Burst. Taito's Twitter feed had pictures of a recent location test and the people were lined up outside the building before the place even opened to play it. I also heard if there is enough demand for the game they are trying to look into importing it overseas, so maybe if we're lucky Dave and Busters might carry the game. I'd love to play it. I still remember seeing Ninja Warriors and Darius as a kid when I went to Disney World and was floored by the size of the machines. And the games were pretty damn fun too!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3D FPS vert style. That would be trippy but probably hard as hell.

I'd definitely be keen to have a play on that!! Doubt I would ever find one near where I live though :(
