MV-1C sync issues

Hey all,
I just got an MVS one slot cabinet. On quick inspection it looks like a MV-1C board.
When I turn off the machine for a while and then turned it back on the vertical/horizontal hold was out of wack. I adjusted the monitor settings and it looked great. Turned off the machine and the next morning. More issues.

Called an arcade tech and he said it may not be the monitor, but the MVS board and sync issue.

Has anyone ever heard of these issues happening with such a board?

Any thoughts would be helpful before I pay a tech to come out and tell me the same thing.

Thanks
Arn

Is it a Wei Ya monitor? if so you need to link the H and V sync together for MVS boards.

I swapped out mvs boards and same issue. I think it's the flyback or neck board going bad. I cranked the vertical hold all the way and got a spark. Scary.
