Hello All

I just got a MVS with out a power supply.

When is use my universial supply set to 10V i only get one grey shaky line on top of screen and loud static from speaker or headphones? Any ideas of the problem???

Thanks

uhm
do you mean MVS arcade board?
if so, 10 V is completely wrong.
if you mean AES (home system), your system might be damaged internally.. cause 10 V is ok for that.

PLEASE guys - read other's posts!!!

I did a DEFINITIVE post on PSUs - it was in the title!

DO NOT use a universal PSU. These are unregulated. You are probably getting 12-15V, peaking at 18V. Yes polarity is positive outer. Also, you need the right amount of current (AT LEAST what the Neo requires) - go read my old post to find the current.

Oh and it must be DC not AC.

I recommend a Mega Drive/Genesis PSU, if you aren't going to get an official replacement.
