With Phantasy Star Portable 2 around the corner I'm looking at putting my PSPgo through some serious wear and tear. To save my PSPgo's screen from some of that wear and tear Kirk pointed out some of the PSPgo features I had overlooked. The PSPgo has bluetooth connectivity, which allows me to use my PS3 controller to play games on my PSPgo. Now all I need are a few additional items.

PSPgo Cradle - allows you to charge your PSPgo and use a video-out cable to play games on your television.
PSP 5v AC Adaptor - Bastards at Sony didn't pack the Cradle with an ac adaptor, gotta purchase it seperately.
PSPgo Component AV Cable - Like the AC adaptor, you have to purchase the AV cables seperately.

With this combination of items I will be able to play PSP games on my television, with a PS3 controller, while charging my PSP. Saving my PSPgo from countless hours of abuse for when I actually need it...on the "go".

Thanks for the tip, Kirk.

If I ever decided to be a huge faggot and buy a pspgo....I would definitely buy this setup...seems like it would be very cool hooked up to a tv.

So little over $60, on top of a PSPGo? You could always just buy a PSP-2000 and a pandora's battery, put custom firmware on and play via RemoteJoy on your monitor.

That way you can use it with any USB controller.

True enough, but I'm already committed to the PSPgo.

I think I'll definitely get a cradle, it will be the best way to play it with the dual shock.

Only thing is, it's a bit hard to come by in the UK, and I must admit that I am a bit begrudged to pay out the RRP for a bit of angled plastic.

I've seen some of the third party cradles though and they look horrible, so I will have to get the Sony one.

Oh is there a way to have the clock on all the time. I was thinking of having it on my desk as a clock, but the screen shuts down after a while?

*edit* Doh, I just need to turn off the power save settings!

So Sony is selling the three components separately? Sucks to be the people who ONLY bought the cradle.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but the 3 items you've listed don't actually include a screen protector, AND they remove the portability of the handheld, am I right?

Yes, that's right.

Unfortunately Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be PSP only... but with a cradle, component out to a big screen TV, and a much more comfortable DS3... that setup would take out the sting of 'PSP only' a little.
If I had that rig, I'd be more interested in PSP exclusive games like Peace Walker, VC2 and the Japan-only K-ON!! game. But on my current 1000 series with the ghosty screen, I can't even be bothered to charge the thing.
