Looks like I won't be able to make it since I'll be out of town.

So you fools will have to do without my hospitality.

Sigh, after last year's auction, I'm not sure I want to go this year...

It's also WAY the hell far away and early for a saturday morning. They really aren't pulling for my kind of person with this event are they?

I just commented on FB, but yeah... I'd have to see if I'd even be willing to get up at that time.

The last one was the MOMA auction and this one is just a general Superauctions. there is supposedly going to be 200+ machines (which includes pinball, jukes, arcade.) I will be heading up to check it out but not planning on buying anything.

I have been to one Superauctions and that was in Milwaukee. I wasn't impressed by them, but I figure it has to be better than what we saw at this last MOMA auction. There are a few people that actually travel around with SA selling there cra... wares.

I figure it's worth at least checking out.

I'd like to go, but I'll be up north.

If anything, there's free pinball to play - there's supposed to be 25 good machines there.

Hitting the state fair for some pinball on a stick tomorrow. If any of you guys are up for it, I will be in and out off and on during the day, but the TCPE guys are gathering there around 7pm.

It's a few blocks from where I live, so I'll pop in. I wasn't too impressed with last years selection though. Everything was beat to shit or a terrible game to begin with. The only thing that caught my eye was a Nintendo player's choice machine, and Sega's Ill fated Planet Harriers.

They were late to start and none of the machines were on when I went in. I had to work and couldn't stay long, but the selection looked a lot better than last year's.

There were 2 MVS 4-slots, and a shit load of cocktail tables.

Anyone stay long enough to see how much things went for?

Details boys, details! What did they have? What about pinball machines?

And who the fuck works on a Sat.? Do you work retail or call desk or something?

And what do you mean "last years"?

Will this mean there's no annual Oct. auction?

It's a few blocks from where I live, so I'll pop in.

And people say I only put a minimum of effort into things.

Like I said before, I didn't stay long enough to see anything turned on or actually sell, but here's as much as I can remember from my 5 min walkthrough:

Aprox. 1.5 times as many as auction from last year.
About a dozen Ms. Pac Mans in some form or another
Lots of cocktails
2 4-slots
Mortal Kombat
2 or 3 multicades, each with about 20 games
3 RUSH 1 player cabs w/ the big green seat.
about 25 pinball machines including the original Playboy, a few other really old ones, Taxi, nothing really from the last generation of pinballs.
Lots of classics overall, plus all the other typical garbage like airhocky, jukeboxes, crane machines, etc.

It prolly was in Oct, I don't remember, I doubt there'll be another in 2 months.

The pins were dirty and needed things fixed. There were some 90's pins. Addams Family, Theater of Magic, TZ, Twister. They all went for way more than they were worth if you ask me. The 2 MVS 4 slots went for 200 and 150 repectively. The second cheaper one was never plugged in as the cord was locked inside the machine. I wasn't planning on picking anything up, but did grab a Megatouch upright for $50.

Even though I'm on Long Island I ordered a T-Shirt from them. I should get it next week. That logo is just made of pure win, and I don't use 'net slang all that much.

If you head out there tell em' Nick from Arcade Hunters says hello!

Damn, that better condition 4-slot was in pretty deicent shape for only 200. I expected it to go for much more. Did both have all 4 of the games the mini marquees suggested?

The one that went for 200 had the games on the marquee. The one in the back had 4 carts (felt them) but the machine was never plugged in as the cord wasn't there (locked inside?) and I didn't pull them to verify. If I was thinking, I would have popped the control panel and looked.
