ROTD Bootleg with Phantom-1

For anyone who has tried to run a ROTD Bootleg through the Arcade! convertor, what errors do you get?

The game loads but has no sound and has messed up graphics. What I need to know is how messed up is yours.

1) Neo Geo bootup logo appears legibly but has blue-ish glitches at sides.
2) Intro is screwed.
3) Options screen is completely ok
4) Character Select screen only shows two characters properly, the rest are blanked.
5) Game plays normally but graphics are glitchy in many places.

What are your errors?

P.S. Please no bitching about supporting the bootleg industry.

I think you know the answer to your own question already.

1. Bootlegs are cheaper than original.
2. Bootleg is made of cheap parts and material.
3. Bootleg does not offer any warranty.

I would say you get what you paid for.

Check the posts about the Garou bootleg played on a Phantom. Same stuff, too bad for you.

I was recently scammed by someone on Ebay that sold me a bootleg RotD cart (the thread for that is <a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=003379" target="_blank">HERE</a>). Anyway, the problems were IDENTICAL to what you're experiencing. I sent that cart back (still working on a refund for it) and bought another RotD cart from a trusted source and it works PERFECTLY in the Phantom1.

Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to confirm. I guess the problem lies with the convertor since the cart plays normally on a MVS board.

bootlegs are not at all compatible with the phantom-1 I believe
