So I just recently picked up a PSP and I'm looking to get some headphones/earphones/earbuds, etc, and was wondering what was best for the money. I know a lot of you guys have PSPs, so what are you using or recommend?

Btw, which model of PSP did you get?

I found someone on Amazon that had the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Big Boss bundle. After hearing all the great reviews, I've been dying to play it, and I really wanted the camouflage color PSP. Best of all, it's boxed and complete, and only been played with a few times (or so the seller says). I had to pay retail price plus shipping, but I don't mind since it was exclusive to GameStop and is kinda hard to come by now.

If you don't mind them looking ugly (design hasn't changed since the 80s) the Koss Porta Pro headphones perform very well for their price, and fold up compact when not in use.

I have that bundle too. The audio on the PSP 3000 is really good, and Peace Walker demands good audio. It even sounds good hooked up to a sound system.

if you are patient, there are deals on the high end headphones all the time.
$200 headphones get marked down to $40-$60 if they don't immediately sell.

the market is kinda flooded right now, so just keep an eye out.

I can't stand earbuds. I use Sony's MDR-V150. I have one at work and one at home.

It won't knock your socks off, but it's solid.

I bought these about 5 years ago at Radio Shack for $12.50. They still work great today.

I like how I knew what they were before even clicking. Yeah, I'd recommend these, or Koss Portapros.

I recently purchased some Sony MDR-NC33's which are also pretty good if you're more interested in playing while outside, since they have 90% noise cancelling. Haven't tried them with my PSP yet though.

JVC Marshmallow earbuds are the best. They sound better than my $100 Shure earbuds. They almost completely block out ambient noise, and the frequency response is great.

I got this model for $10 about 2 years ago. There's newer versions, but I hear they have short cords. Otherwise they should sound the same.

The newer versions can be found at Walmart for ~$20.
