It's not impossible to play it (i even beat it). It's pretty straighforward, especially the 'Mizuki quest'... <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

is there such a device that translate game from Jap to english... i'll pay big money for it. i have a load of jap games. and errrrrr i dunno how to play

I remember back in the day somebody translated Final Fantasy 5 to english on rom (dunno if it was available anywhere else). I think it would be pretty cool if somebody dabbled into doing something like that for SS-RPG.

Could you fathom an all SNK-engrish RPG?

Not only would there be lots of unintended laughs, but there'd also be a lot of confusion like badly written key clues:
"The key is found at the building!"

There is someone doing a translation of SS!RPG. It is DEJAP! who did FF5. There site is down at the moment but there is some info here

I think they are only 10% in at the moment. There is no patch out yet but when they do release it I will be off to buy a copy of the game, download the ISO and patch and burn it on to a CD!

If I find any more info I'll let you know
