My crappy dazzle one is, well, crappy. Want to get something that will do component either express card or USB since I'll be doing it on my laptop. Capturing a jrok.

Any suggestions. Sub $100 price range would be ideal.

I emailed jrok twice to no avail....is buying directly from him the only way to get his encoders?

I bought a Hauppage HD PVR that accepts 480i to 720p via component. I use it mainly for COD vids but plan to use it for my newer arcade vids. You can get them for around $150.
