About nonworking joypads?

Is there a way to repair the pad buttons yourself? After only a few years of use the little bastards start glitching and stops working... HELP!!!! <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> What do i do?

The push button are standard part which you can buy off any electronic supply store. You even have choice for hard or soft touch.

Man, mine would crap out on me all the time. Well, not all the time, but enough where it was severely pissing me off.

I'm telling you, modifying a Saturn or A Genny pad is the way to go for extreme comfert when it comes to playing neo games with out the stick.

well if i were you i would seriously consider the MAS jooy sticks. there exelent quality! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Oop. yours is a joypad..just clean it with alcohol and eraser.

REALLY? MINE DOESNT WORK EITHER...

MAY I FIND THEM IN RADIOSHACK?

The big brother stick pushbutton(A B C D SELECT and START) can be purchase from Radio Shack.

The Joystick use leaf switch. Don't know if Radio shack stock them, I am in Singapore!

Its most likely for the lead to break around the entry to the stick/pad. In which case, if its more than one maybe two wires, you need a new lead and plug <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

might as well get a new one if that is the case, too much trouble and hard to get new cable.

Ok, alcohol and eraser, right. Are you sure this will work? Its kinda like this with all my old game systems. The button doesn´t respond as fast as you would like to -Consequence -i press it harder up to the point where it doesn´t work at all?

Am i in trouble officer?
