Finally I got a copy of PC Engine Image Fight 2 at a reasonable price and received it yesterday. I spent 20 min playing it last night and gggzzz..........it's fuckin hard!!! Enemy AI is high and I was like WTF and die in level 1 at least 10 times........ I can't imagine people practice over and over to beat the whole game.....

Well it does auto-save, most people beat it 1 level at a time. But I honestly didn't think level 1 was too bad. The level 2 boss is kind of bullshit though, as you have to learn where the safe spot is or you're instantly dead...

Still though like most Irem games, it is fair, just hard. The key is learning to use your weapons effectively. The afterburner attack is your best friend in IF2.

I love IF2. The penalty stage is what dreams are made of. :)

Thanks for the tips!!!!

That's the main reason I love 8/16 bit video games. They're tough to beat and it keeps you practicing more .......unlike games nowadays.........

yea IF2 is pretty brutal. Most of the obvious spots to hide are not the best one. Just wait until level 4 that one is total bullshit lol

Too bad that there's no cheat code (invincibility) out there.........:(
But I've seen people beat the whole game and posted it to youtube

they AI is really brutal so you need reflexes and memory to survive the onslaught. Do you have Heavy Unit? that one is also a doozey of an adventure.

No, I've heard Heavy Unit is just a so-so game. What I really want to get next is Sylphia

I'll practice more and see how far i can get in IF2
