I want to buy a MVS kit and wonder what normal price range should be for an old 1-slot or 2 slot? Any good store that you guys recommend? Is it hard to setup the system? Since I have no experience in setting up an arcade machine, I don't want to mess up. What I know is I need a MVS kit, MVS cart, Joystick, and a RGB/PC monitor. Is that all I need to play MVS games?

I'd say $150-$200 would be a decent price, Kert. What would be the best store to buy an MVS board from? I think you would be better off looking on Ebay.

I assume you mean to play on you tv, ie not a cab.

I got my 1 slot off ebay for 50 uk pounds. I think that is an average price, so whatever that is in usd then.

A complete MVS kit is designed to include everything an operator needs to convert a jamma cab to mvs, so it also includes josticks and buttons. You won't need all of that, so just buy an MVS pcb. You'll also need a supergun. Check out Great Western Trading and MAS Systems for superguns.
