I have searched google and on these forums but I cant seem to find a gathered list for the Japanese 360 exclusive shooters (even those that were ported over to US or Region Free releases afterwards)

Does anybody have a list or knows all of these games by heart?

I'm considering buying a Jap 360 and want to see if its worth investing on a 2nd xbox 360 system

Thanks man ... those are all the shooters on the jap360 so far right?
Which of them are Region Free and/or have been released on NTSC/U or PAL format?

I know for sure Futari 1.5 is Region Free.

Shikigami 3 isn't exclusive to the 360. It's also on Wii.

Espgaluda II regular (non-limited) edition is region free

Raiden IV, Raiden Fighters Aces, and Deathsmiles have US releases. I am not familiar with PAL stuff.

None of them have a PAL release yet, though various retailers are listing RFA to come out in August as a budget release.

Mushihime-sama Futari is region free, both the regular and the limited edition. Highly recommended.

I'm trying to figure out the full list of 2D side scrolling shooters for Jp XBOX 360, so far I can think of 15, if I'm missing any, please point out. I'm planning to go on a trip overseas that I'll just get them all. You can also get them from JP Video Games or NCS, but they get expensive from the importing process and they don't have all the games in stock.

3D shooters, BTW, don't count.

Does Triggerheart Exelica count?

Actually, no, it's an Xbox Live game, not official release on a disc format. Also, games with limited edition will count as one game with regular edition (ie. Espgaluda II)

My list above could also include games on other systems. Another game in question is Otomedius Excellent that Konami plans to release, even for US market.

Another question, is there any way to buy Xbox Live game in physical form? There's got to be some ways to download to a disc.

Yes. There are some retail releases of compilations of games from XBLA. The best one I've seen has Rez, Every Extend Extra Extreme, and Lumines Live on one disc.

Other than that, there's no way to download an XBLA game onto your console and make your own disc. I'm not into hacking on 360, so if there is a way, I'm oblivious to it.

I wasn't aware of this compilation. I already own Rez, but not the other two. Lumines if fucking stupid the way they released it, so I never got it. I'll have to pick this up next time I have extra Paypal laying around.

Otomedius Excellent will be different from Gorgeous. It will feature new characters and levels. Probably wont have that special controller support either :(

Yeah, it's called R3 if you end up searching for it.
