Hi all, I have a question about the button layout of MAS Systems' Super Pro. Stick and don't want to call MAS for it, so I will post it here instead. Hope you guys are kind enough to help me.

My two Super Pro. Sticks are the 8-button model with PC support. When connecting to the 4-slot MVS I got, the
button layout for both sticks is:

Up <Select> <Start> 1 2 3 4
Left o Right
Down 5 6 7 8

That <Select> is for adding credit, but not for switching to another games I inserted onto the 4-slot MVS (I couldn't switch between game with the Super Pro. Stick that I had to either wait for 30 seconds for the board to switch game itself, or use my Neo Geo stick if I want to be able to choose game manually), and A, B, C, D button are as 2, 3, 4, 8.

Is the button layout of my sticks correct? Or I really should be able to choose game with the <Select> button, and A, B, C, D should be 1, 2, 3, 4 instead of 2, 3, 4, 8?

Thanks in advance!!

that sounds like a giant pain the ass...i can't say whether or not that's their correct setup, but you might want to take a look at rewiring the buttons.

Thanks for the reply bugula. It is indeed a giant pain in the ass, but sadly I don't even know if that's the "correct" layout of the Super Pro. Stick... <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

BTW, I read your post about the building your own controller, very nice work. I was planning to build my own stick (with a help from my friend) and was planning to use plexiglass instead of wood, but after seeing your work, I changed my mind. Just want to know whether your did the woodwork (and the printout) yourself, or you ordered it from somewhere. <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">
