Hello Everyone!
My name is Matt, and I'm a retro gameaholic. Actually, I'm not that bad, but I thought I'd throw some (bad) humor into my intro post. My love of all things Neo-Geo started in the local arcade. IIRC they had a 2-slot cab with Sengoku and Ninja Combat. I remember seeing the Neo-Geo AES later in stores and wishing that I had the money to buy that.
About 15 years or so later, a friend of mine and I attended a convention called Geek Kon (great convention if you are near WI btw). In the video game room there was a Neo-Geo AES. My friend and I visited the video game room a few times and sat down and played that thing every time we were in there.
With my love for the console rekindled, and our own startup convention (Kitsune Kon) on the horizon, I decided to look into buying a Neo-Geo AES. After some research and careful consideration, I decided to buy a CMVS. I currently have a 4 slot that someone else had converted, and a 1 slot that I am converting myself. I'm not the best at building or soldering (I just learned to solder working on this thing ), but I am having a blast.
So, with that long winded post, very nice to meet you all!
