So I finally decided to play this Omega 5 game I drunkingly purchased on XBL like 2 years ago, and played for maybe 20 minutes. And i'm glaad I did! It has excellent graphics, a good soundtrack, and is really fun! I need to get use to not trying to dodge all the pink chips. I think from playing so many Cave shooters lately I keep thinking that they are bullets. Anyone else spend some time with this game? Wouldn't mind getting some 2 player co-op going, or even 2 player co-op on Ikaruga for that matter. If anyone is interested hit me up on XBL. My Gamertag is "ItzCheckoutTime"

My xbl handle is wataru3THIRTY. If O5 came down to 800 pts, i'm in. I have ikaruga and raystorm, along with r-type. Gotta get shooting with prof denim too- i'll try to be on more, but last month it was teething kids, this month its the World Cup. Cheers man, and thx for reminding me about this game!

Yes, this game is awesome. Gets a bad rap from some shooter fans, something I do not quite understand..

As much as I like the game (and I honestly do, cleared it on a credit with all the characters 'n everything) it does have its flaws. It's very easy on the default difficulty and some of the bullets are hard to see which makes playing the Arcade++ difficulty way more frustating than it should be. I'm hoping Hudson will eventually make a sequel with these fixed, but I don't think it has sold nearly enough to warrant such a thing...

I think some have an issue with the dual analogue controls. I love it and think its great. And yes, do get all over that Progear.
