I posted earlier about the MVS sound problem i have connecting a 2-Slot Neo Geo board to standard jamma harness. I hear that running it on a standard jamma harness can cause problems with the board itself. The only solution i have found so far without rewiring is that i brought a pair of speakers and have connected them to the 2 slot through the Headphone socket. I now get great and full sound and have turned the volume down for the mono speaker in the cab to nothing. Is this going to cause problems in the long run?? Would the board of gone after turning it on the first time?? It's only been left on for around 30 mins in it's longest run but no sound problems have been detected with the way it is set up now. i need to know if the standard jamma wiring will risk the amp.

You can check out the differences between the Neo Geo wiring and Jamma wiring here:

NeoGeo vs. Jamma

I don't think you would blow it up, but don't quote me. Look at the diagram.
