I'm about to get a 1 slot MVS cab....and I'm seeing on www.hardmvs.com that the 1-slot boards are closer to a jamma standard than the 2,4,6 slot boards that he calls MVS standard....how hard and what exactly is involved in changing the two out? Will the multi-slots work w/o any moding?

Howdy and welcome to the forums.

A 2/4/6 Slot will work in a jamma cab, but you wont have select/D button unless the cab is wired for it. Will also only have Mono sound.
you can add the missing components pretty easially, if your good with wiring.

I hope this helps

Check here http://www.system16.com/jamma.html

1 slot systems are standard JAMMA, with one additional button (D) at location C/25. Multislot systems are the NeoGeo pinout.
