MVS video problem

On the rear slot of my 2-slot, any game I play on it has messed up video. About every 12 vertical lines or so, the complete line is off color, like if you took a picture, put it thorugh a paper shredder and taped it back together. I noticed that each on plane that scrolls, the vertical lines match up with that plane. Also when zooming in or out, the lines either come closer or spread out respectively.

I've already tried cleaning the connections twice with electronic parts spray, and it hasn't worked. Does anyone have an idea how to fix it? Is there any chance that a trace might be damaged?

Would I have to replace the slot (like Arcade! did for the home system) if that's the case?
Or maybe pry the pins inwards?

You should give that slot a good hard cleaning with a toothbrush and electronics cleaner. It worked on one of my slots that was having the same problem. Also, let the electronics cleaner dry on it's own or with compressed air, if you use any fabric it will snag on the connectors.

Okay, well using a toothbrush with electronics parts cleaner didn't seem to work. Should I try and tighten the slots? Is it possible that a slot connector is broken?
