Suggestions please! re monitor

My monitor is on its last legs, i can only play with pitch black darkness in my room, a tv technition came and repaired the "fold" in the monitor with a cap kit but couldnt rejuvinate the monitor. Should i get a whole new monitor? or a new picture tube(or is that the same thing?) or is there another solution? Is there an easy way of hooking it up to my tv? and lastly is there anywhere on the net that can help me with arcade monitor info? thanks for the help guys!

Is this a good solution? Man this is costly but is this the best way to go?

i just spend 700.00 on my cab so money is an issue, but there is no way i can get a candy cab thanks for the relpys guys, im still not sure what im gonna do, im screwed for a few more paychecks atleast

oh is there a cord that would hook up a tv to my mvs? im guessing there is no sutch thing, thus superguns right?
