I have a cab, I don't want to switch off the cab because some people said that it's no good for the screen to switch on/off quickly.

So ok just add a power swith to the PSU.

There is 2 wire for AC input,

can i put one simple switch on the first Wire? Or i must add a switch who take care of the 2Wires?

What type of switch I need?

Thanks :)

So you already have a switch in your cab to turn it off and on?

I'd bet that switch works by interrupting one of the power wires.

just one switch for the whole cab (screen + MVS).
I want to just switch off the MVS only, if i want.

There's no advantage to that - you shouldn't be shutting anything off and on rapidly, and the time it takes to swap a cart or PCB is not considered rapid. If you're doing that to reset the machine, yes, that's something you might consider a power switch for.

In that case you only need to add a switch to either of the power lines, it doesn't matter which.

Unplug the thing before you do. >=)

If you just want to switch off the mvs and not the monitor you want to switch the +5v coming out of the power supply. so disconnect the +5v going to the jamma harness and take this to a switch and then from the switch to the power supply.the switch should be rated at about 10 amps and this is a DC voltage..
