Debug Bois for MVS

I have a MV-1C US motherboard, and the bois chip is soldered, and I want to put a uni bois on it, would I have to unsolder it?

yes, you'd have to desolder it and wire up a different socket. check my "heart surgery on a mv-1B" thread on how it's done.
