Home Cart AC adaptor

Does any one know if a Japanese Home Cart System with a Japanese AC adaptor would work on American power outlets? I am thinking of buying this system from a Japanese friend but he does not know if I could have this problem such as with the SNES.
Any info on this will be really helpfull.

You had a problem with using a SFC in the U.S.?

I haven't had any problems using my SFC import..my understanding is JPN stuff works ok in the U.S., although if you wanted to be on the safe side you could buy a step-down (or is it step-up?) converter for a couple bucks.

I think you'll have no problems running your Jap system in the US . Check out the Neo-store on this website , Shawn sells AC adaptors for Jap systems and he says they'll work in US homes .
