I just wondered if anyone has found the address used to swap game with these bootlegs? And if you have are the different carts always using the same address?

I was thinking of adding a generic system into the unibios to swap games via the ingame menu or something.

Doesn't the 120- and 138-in-1 use different systems to swap games compared to the earlier carts? For the 138-in-1 the swap system seems to be on the JAMMA connector and not the cart itself, so does it even have an address for that?

There are no known dumps that I know of, in theory someone with a cart and the unibios to PC cable can easily get one though.

From looking that the extraboard pictures for the 138 in 1 I have come to the conclusion that the board is not needed if a seperate game swapping system is created. I feel they simply use it to make a better game swapping menu and to try and stop bootlegs of bootlegs.

At a guess I would say the addresss used to change carts is somewhere in the 0x200000 to 0x2fffff range

I have a 120-1 and a unibios but no cable. :mr_t:
If theres anything I can do on my end let me know.

The memory card works with it, in game cheats work with it, the jukebox works with it and region mode changing usually works with it. I have an Mv-4.

I dont know if you remember but I had a hacked home system to work in a cab. What was up with its bios? I have a unibios in it now.

A member here is going to send me a few carts to have a look at. I'm hoping there will be an easy way I can tell if the cart is one of these multiboots and then make a better way to swap game from within the unibios which will hopefully also remove the need of the daughter JAMMA cards some of these use.

One I can see how to change games, I'm hopeing it will be so easy that using the patch engine in the ingame menu can be used also.

Raz, Did you ever get around to addressing the 138 cart switching issue through your bios chip...????

If you mean the address error after swapping games then yes that will be fixed in the next unibios release. I have no idea when that will be yet.
