What does a suicided CPS2 board look like?

I just got my freaking ST board and it was working fine last weekend, but now it boots up and the fan runs, but the screen is black (I don't think it's even sending any video at all). Is this what a suicide looks like, or does it look like something else?

Sounds like it. I've seen solid black screens and blue screens.

This is weird, because I just opened my board up and the suicide battery is still giving out 3.7 volts! Any ideas, maybe I blew a cap or something?

edit: BTW I know it is not the A board because I have two A boards and it gives the same problem on both.

It could be suicide but make sure the 'a' and 'b' boards are together real tight. If they are not then it can look like suicide when it is not.

Yeah I have clips for them and I tried pressing hard already, and it wasn't that. I gave it to a friend and he was getting video errors, and he reburned my EPROMs and apparently it's working now. Thanks!
