I love Daytona USA for Saturn but i must say playing the game with the Saturn control pad is godawful. I also tried playing with the Nights 3D controller, and the analog stick is WAY too sensitive.

I'm considering investing in an arcade racer steering wheel, but I don't know if the controller is any good or not. I'd hate to invest the money for one and find out it sucks.

Has anybody had experience with these steering wheel controllers, and is it worth the investment?

Also...are there seperate gas/break pedals available for this controller?

The Saturn steering wheel sucks. Feels cheap and shitty.

Never seen pedals available for it. I suggest you avoid it.

Is it at least better than a d-pad? There must be some reasonable control solution for Daytona. The d-pad is too rigid and the analog stick is way too sensitive, and there is no option to reduce the sensitivity. Ah well.

SEGA should port it on PSN/XBLA I'd say.. the game deserves to be remembered.

Hopefully the HD version that just came out in the arcades(Sega Racing Classic I believe it's called) gets ported to PS3 or Wii soon. Also I'd like to see Daytona USA 2 ported to a console at some point.

I remember seeing a saturn steering wheel at a local game shop, it felt awful and really loose. Best bet is to get the actual arcade game, or if they were to re-release the game down the line to use todays steering wheels.
