I'm just wondering what I should do. I have a CMVS and I'm trying to create a cab to put it into. Right now I have it hooked up to a VGA monitor using a component to VGA converter box. For some strange reason the text at the bottom of the monitor doesn't hold it's size. It looks like it's moving around a little bit.

I have two questions:

Is there a conversion box that you would recommend so I don't get this inaccuracy at the bottom of the screen ... possibly this one?

Should I just scrap the idea and just buy all the arcade hardware (ie. power supply, jamma harness, speakers) and make a proper cab?

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Best thing to do would be to get an RGB to VGA converter instead. The one from jammaboards.com has adjustment buttons if the picture isn't perfect.

Yeah if you're doing a cab, why not just use a regular arcade monitor and just use the rgb...

You would be converting a signal then converting a signal... just use the rgb itself.

Money's the main issue ... I'm thinking of just using the vga monitor for now and then when I get the money actually buy a real monitor.
