Hello, I extremely new here. I've been looking at the topics here and have found them very helpful. I'm planning to purchase a Neo Geo cabinet, but i've never purchased a cabinet before. I'm very new to this, but I've learned a lot already. I found the answers to most of my questions here except for one...

I plan to purchase a cabinet from a dealer about two hours away from me. I've checked and found out that I can fit the cabinet in my mini van if I lay it on its back or side. Is it advisable to transport the cabinet this way? I just want to make sure before I follow through on this.

Any advice is appreciated!

There was a topic about this months ago. Someone (I think Asure) warned not to lay it on the back. My advise is to put it on its side. But make sure the internal components (PSU, transformer, etc.) are firm in their place.

Thanks MKL. I was able to find the thread you mentioned. Lotta helpful information in there. I'll probably try to load it in on its side. Again, much appreciation for the reply! :)

I transported my cab on it's back for a two hour car ride, and that was no problem. I was told by several members that lying the cab on it's back wouldn't hurt it.
