I need to get my Willow JAMMA board repaired. It plays fine but the color is messed up. Especially in the backgrounds, it looks very purple. Also in the backgrounds, there can be dirty lines, similar to a nes cart that is seated improperly. I would be willing to pay someone if they think they can repair it for me. Whatever you feel is fair to replace whatever rom is broken, and shipping back to me.

Thanks everyone!

From the description it sounds like a bad A board. They are difficult to repair and it's easier to buy a different A board.

That is the exact same problem that my Willow had recently. A very black attract mode with mostly purple, sound was fine though. The problem was indeed the A-board.

Finding a working A-board only is kind of tough, so your best bet is to pick up
a World Warrior or something cheap. It's probally more cost effective than two
way shipping and repairs too.

So are you saying the a board is simliar to the cps2 a board, except they just came standard with every cps1 game and are all the same? And the b board is actually the Willow game? Is world warrior the only compatable board? Are you talking about the first version of street fighter 2 that doesn't let you play as the bosses?

Most any cps1 mobo should work, they just said that game because street fighters are $20-50.
Im sure most cps2 games came with a motherboard at one time, they can break though and if your palying it at home you only need one per region.

Keep in mind there are different versions of CPS A boards (I've encountered at least 2).
