I am new to the neo scene, and today I am going to order a NEO Candy 29 from Cali. It comes complete ready to install a MVS motherboard. I want to go with at least a 2-slot, hopefully a 4-slot. I just want to know before I order how hard it is to install a motherboard, and where is the best place to purchase one? I would appreciate any help anyone has on the topic. Thanks. And I hope to be around a while.

There's only 1 connector, just plug it in to the pcb. Its plug and play ;)

Hi Skbass,

I am also new to the Neo Scene, I just traded a PS2 for a converted Neo Geo Cabinet. Mine came with a 2 Slot board. This one is good because it has the memory card!

The guy I got mine from has 2 extra 1 slot boards. I think he has them for sale on his website for $75.00. He is a good guy to deal with, I am buying another cabinet from him tommorow (Atari Xevious).

Check out his homepage @ <a href="http://www.geocities.com/ksink98072." target="_blank">www.geocities.com/ksink98072.</a>

His name is Keith, you can send him an email or probably call him. He has a nice collection of MVS games for sale too, very reasonable.

I just picked up another game from him today "Shock Troopers". He is very friendly and helpful.

You can also buy a 4 slot Board from MD Game Sales on Ebay... they sell alot of MVS games, their 4 slot boards go for $175.00 with buy it now.

Have Fun,
Robert ;)
