Superguns with a rotate feature?

Does anyone here know if any superguns have a built in rotate feature? I don't particularly care what the resulting image looks like, as long as I can read the text right side up. If none of them do this, would it be a hard feature to incorporate into a custom built one?

Unfortunately, they don't.

I believe it would be very difficult to design such a thing as all the commerical products I've looked at have been thousands of dollars.

This might not be what you're looking for, but I know a lot of SHMUPS fans have been looking for a product like this, and none of them are any good as far as I know. But one option is to get a Sony PVM monitor, they are okay to lie on their side. :)

I had good luck turning an old SD CRT with a built-in VCR on its side. No color effects at all. Perhaps it's because of extra shielding, due to the inclusion of the VCR.

There was actually a project to do this, using some piece of hardware, thing is the screen estate you'd lose wouldn't make it worth it anyway, far better to get an old crt and rotate it on its side, the thing will degauss after a few hours anyway.

Some monitors have rotate features.
