I assure you that Espgaluda II Black Label Normal Edition will be the last region free game for the time being.
It's not going to be like the DS version. That was just Death Label. The 360 version is the full port. It has a fully playable Arcade Mode.well i will be getting this for certain. i have not looked for any info but is it going to be like the ds port? just boss fights? I have the ds version but gave away my ds so cant play it.

i dont think 5pb will have the same issues as its last release, so not worried there. Plus i did not find it as bad as people were complaining.
I definitely will not be importing a JP 360 for this, especially considering the company that is porting this apparently doesn't have the strongest track record with this kind of thing.
honestly, I dont think 5bp's Blex port was all that bad. The worst thing about it are the initial load times. Once you get past that, there is still alot of fun to be had with the game.
If the release will affect the price of the PCB?![]()
Most likely, if the port's good. If the port's bad however..
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the pcb price go back to what it used to be before it got popular. I'm hoping the port is good for that reason alone.

Agreed. Other than load times and issues with online rankings, no player that hasn't dissected the PCB will ever have an issue with the port.

It's the game crashing glitches that gets to me. On the second loop, you lose all your extra lives (converted to points) and if you die, the game freezes.
No, it's not region free. (Every forum I visit.. I swear...)
A lot of people are going to be importing consoles just for this game.
Edit: Hey, it's nice to see that Kotaku is as slow and mediocre as ever. They're only a few months late this time.
From a business end, why is it counterproductive for them to make it region free?
Because it would completely kill off any change of the game getting licensed for release outside of Japan. Cave and 5pb would get money for licensing it (but only if another company wants to license it). In the case of Ketsui, I'd say the chances of it getting licensed one day are pretty high.
Makota Asada: Mushihime-sama Futari was our first region-free game and we were happy enough with the response to finalize our plans for the US release of Deathsmiles. Ultimately, releasing the game region free doesn’t make as much sense to us as localizing our games and building a real fanbase overseas. That doesn’t mean that we’re only going to release games in the US of course, it really depends on interest from fans.
But of course Cave is telling all this "building a fanbase overseas" bullshit.
