CPS 3 problem

I have received a CPS3 mobo with SF3 3rd Strike cart and CD-Rom. When everything is set together my supergun doesn't give out any video signal, CD Rom spinning. I don't have a kick harness for it but I believe something should have shown since it's JAMMA



Could it be the CD Rom problem?



If I take the cart out the the video signal becomes like this

If your screen is just black when you boot your 3s then it is 99% a dead cart. Other CPS3 games will give you a scrambled screen when they die but for some reason 3s just gives you a black screen.

Another one down.

Go through the MAME motions if you can and keep an eye out for any audio. Otherwise, shes probably gone to a better place.
