Question about the MVS board and the Yamaha sound chip

I'm looking over my board and noticed something where the yamaha sound chip is.

Two pins on the chip look to be corroded and shorted. Pic below. Is this normal or is not expected? I did a continuity test and it isn't shorted even though it looks to be.

Not normal as mine isn't like that. Separate them, they are 2 data lines.

It needs to be cleaned.

If you scrape it off you can use it as dry rub.
