both the manuals say they should have them... but.. nope! I've got pins where they are supposed to be. Lemme guess, I have to buy a headphone board/memcard slot.

Sounds like they snapped off maybe? or you have a different 2 slot to the one in the manual? Doesn't your 2 slot have a memcard reader? thought they all had those.

Been a while since I've owned a 2 slot.

Why you would buy a MV-IC board instead of just replacing the connectors?

What, the dust? :lolz: Seriously though, both the available service manuals AND hardmvs says it should have one.

Well I haven't had that 2 slot version, just the one that has the extra connectors on the right side of the board. Where would the memory card reader even be connected on that one you have?

according to the manual, it's supposed to be on the left side where the mounts are to add a memcard board... but it's all supposed to be on the board, not a seperate piece?

Well I wasn't sure if both versions of the MV2 had the memory card reader. I know the one does, but haven't seen any pictures of the other version to know offhand. But looking at your picture, I couldn't see where the reader would even be attached to the board if someone had removed it. On the other version (with the extra pinouts on the right) the reader and the phone out is there on the bottom left. What's the right part of your board look like (it's cutoff in that picture)?

So it's an MV-2B. I had no idea there were was another variation of the 2-slot. Why doesn't the PCB comparison table on the hardmvs.com site mention the MV-2B and the MV-4FT (or the hotel unit)?
Can somebody do a complete list of all the motherboard variations?

You forgot the older MV2, MV4, and there is no MV6F... only MV6.
