MVS 1-Slot that only works with Trackball?

I recently just purchased a one-slot mvs pcb and it appears to only work with a trackball. Has anyone ever heard of this type of board? I checked the configuration menu and there does not appear to be anyway to get it back into the normal 2-joystick, 8-button mode.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of board?

Sounds like you got an Irritating Maze dedicated MVS board . . . its an MVS-1B or 1C, right? If so, the bios is locked into trackball only . . . you can't run any other games on that board other than IM, without changing the onboard BIOS chip. I'm sure Jeff or a few other people can fill you in on the details.
