After weeks of blathering on about it during the late nights at Chino Club, we have the go:

This Sunday, February 28:

5:30 pm -- Burger Jones for Dinner

7:30 pm -- Black Dynamite @ Bobak's house (and games)

10:30 pm -- Chino Club @ Chino Latino

Aaaaaahhh yeah!

Who's in?

Dare I say no?

Perish the thought, this sounds like a good old time to me.

"Black Dynamite, you're so righteous."

That's fine --make what you can.

Wish I was there to partake in the festivities. I should head out to the MN some time.

I also wouldn't mind checking out the ball of twine in Darwin, MN.

Its one of the glaring omissions in places I've seen in MN :(

Dammit, will be out of town that weekend. I really need to see Black Dynamite, the wife and I saw a preview in front of a movie we redboxed and both thought it looked hilarious.

Have fun guys, wish I could make it.

The timing works for me, and I missed Black Dynamite the first time. Count me in.

I presume the Burger Jones is the one by Lake Calhoun.

Awesome :)

Yup, actually I think that's the only one right now --but I could see them opening one in St. Paul or something, since that's becoming popular with restaurants like Salut, The Bulldog and Barrio all opening locations over in the East country.

Saint Paul's Bulldog and Barrio are only two blocks from my work here downtown and I haven't gone to either yet. Word round the campfire is that this Bulldog doesn't have the truffle burger.

Que?

Pop! is only four blocks away as well. Still need to go there too.

I know the Bulldog in Uptown and Nordeast have different menus --when the opened the one in Nordeast they hired a chef. I wonder if they hired a new one for St. Paul and let him do whatever he'd like.

Lunch at 5:30?! What time zone are you in? My supper is usually that time, sonny!

I'll make a reservation for Burger Jones today, I'll aim slightly over our expected number and reduce the reservation later.

Okay, so they don't take reservations, so let's aim at being there at 5:30. If you get there early there's the worlds smallest Barnes & Noble in the same plaza.

While this time might have us competing with families-with-small-children and farmers, we should have a fair chance at scoring a table for --what appears to be-- six (not counting Kiel, but its not hard to add one or two in a pinch).

Feel free to invite good friends (no weirdos at my house, please ;) ), but let me know if they're coming to Burger Jones.

Hey poodude (or anyone else with the foldable tailgating chairs), any chance I could talk you into bringing a few chairs with you? I don't want to leave too many on the floor at my place --which still isn't 100% furnished.
