As much as i want to say KOF 97... when i play KOF98, it'll probably be KOF 98.

i havent played a great deal of neo games but id have to say kof 98 or slug 2

My favorite Neo Geo game is Fatal Fury Special, hands down. Just something about the groove of the game that I dig..

Fatal fury 2,it was the first neo game I got,the game which made me get a neo and the game I still love playing even today <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

That's a really hard question...

Fighters:
I'd have to go with Mark of the Wolves on this one. If you had asked me a month ago I would have said either SS2 or Real Bout Special.

Other:
Aero Fighters 2. How come this game doesn't get much love? People LIKE it, but no one I've seen LOVES it.

Let me guess: This is the only Neo shooter you have ever played? If not then you must be crazy. Anyone preferring AF2 over Pulstar, Blazing Star, Last Resort, Strikers, Viewpoint is downrigth nuts. THE AF series is as bad as a shooter series can get. Imo the worst on the Neo.

At this point I would have to say Mark Of The Wolves... Ireally dig the animation plus all the characters are fresh and many are actually likeable.
