Ok, Very little technology here but I find it immensely useful.

I have a Sony PVM with RGBS BNC connectors on the back for RGB gaming, and I have SCART cables for a few of my consoles. I threw together this little box to be an easy way to hook SCART cables to my PVM.

The added bonus (all those colored knobs on top) is the connectors on top that accept bare wires (like on stereo speakers) so I can hook an arcade board straight to the PVM without needing to solder anything together or build cables. Its great for testing stuff.

Also features a Stereo to Mono toggle on the front as my PVM is mono only.

Cool brushed surface courtesy of my Dremel tool.

At first I was like wtf? But I think its a good idea. Why didnt you just put a db25 in the back though?

Looks nice, but I hate those metal toggle switches. They look horrible and always end up snapping off.

Out of interest, where did you get the SCART socket? That particular type looks a bit easier to mount than the ones I usually use.

Scart socket comes from mouser. Just search for scart and it's one of the few things they carry that is scart.

Toggle switch is decently robust. I hate flimsy ones too.

As for the ports on the back. I could have done some Sort of d-sub on the back, but my pvm takes bnc and I have a lot of bnc to phono adapters and phono cables lying around so it was the eisier route. I may add a d-sub later if I feels like it. Plenty of room for one.
