I'm new to wiring and stuff, so bear with me. :glee:

Would it be possible to wire a Dreamcast controller's PCB to a Hori or Mad Catz stick? I hate how the Agetec stick's buttons jam and how the stick itself gets stuck in certain directions :blow_top:. I'll take my Saturn converter over that thing any day.

I know you can rewire Dual Shocks, but I don't think I've ever seen a rewired DC pad.

long story short... if you have the will power almost anything in this world is possible. You should find one of the Mad Catz DC controllers or any one that has a common ground. Alternatively, there are quite a few good ps2 -> dc converters on the market.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I'm hesitant about going to PS2 -> DC route because HRAP2s are so expensive...

Thanks for the links xiao

Yes! The 3rd party ones have a good range in terms of ease of use for making a stick... the 1st party sega ones are very straightforward and hold up well to the soldering.

Yeah, the best part is that it does not have any pots... SO you don't have to worry about that.
