Could really use more information about your setup.
My guess is that you're using composite video with any of a million televisions that will cut part of your view. If you can, try to adjust the viewing area on the television.

I've had this problem personally, it's one of those things that will really tick you off into buying another TV.

Thank you for the fast reply. But when i play other games like Fatal Fury it`s ok.I think it`s not the tv problem.

This may sound really stupid but ,

Have you cleaned the cart ? as well as the slot in your AES ?

Like I said , It may sound lame but , its best to try the easy stuff first.

Plus its easy and just might work ?

good luck

It must be a width prob with your TV IMHO ( or some other problem causing overscan, like excessive ht), otherwise you would see a gap on the right side. It maybe more noticable on some games because of the positioning of the text charcters.

A TV will only scan to the extent of the raster image, your Neo will not make it overscan. If it was a sync problem the picture may be displaced but you would see a gap on the other side.

Have you seen a test card transmission on your set recently, maybe its just a width or shift adjustment, however modern sets dont have these.
Is a recent model ?

Thinks.....maybe a fault in the cart, something causing the text character layer to be displaced slightly ??? Not beyond the realms of possibility.

I have the same problem with my DC, there's a gap in the right side. I have had the TV fixed some months ago and it never gave me that problem before. It's a 10 year old Sony Trinitron and I'm using composite video through a scart cable (methinks).

I had this problem with my old analogue TV set; both the Neo AES and Neo CD's picture was slightly shifted to the left, resulting in cuts of graphics/text. A little annoying, but no real problem.

After salvaging the old TV and buying a new (digital) one, the problem was gone. All pictures are centered now, with only a very small shift to the left (hardly noticeable). I did some research and stumbled across automatic geometry adjustment, a feature which my new TV has, my old one didn't.

I talked with a mate of mine about this. We came to the conclusion that, unless your analogue TV has some knobs to adjust the picture geometry (or an automatic geo correction), the problem cannot be solved. The only chance would be to open the TV and look for some test points/switches/knobs on one of the pcb.

My Sega Saturn has a very similar problem to the one you describe.
I am using an old Analog 20" Panasonic TV monitor w/ S-video (made in the mid-80's)
Each Saturn game I play looks slightly different.(Cuts-off a certain portion, or none at all)
What I do is, adjust the TV to a setting that doesn't cut-off too much, and isn't too small, just evening out the image.
So, it looks ok on all the games.
Not much help really, but.....
(Re-calibrating TV's/Monitors is actually kinda fun, in a monotonous-sort of way, for me...)

its just an over scan problem, like takumaji said.

alot of newer and higer end tv's have service modes that you can enter to adjust things like that, just like your pc monitor.

i have a toshiba 20" fst, and for the most part, everything is centered and whatnot. sometimes i do go in and adjust it, like if i was using my pc on my tv.

I'm sorry to bump this topic, but when I play Sam Sho II (my one and only game) The character on the farthest right of the screen is always cut off.

I'm using composites btw.

The only thing you can do is find out some way to adjust your TV's overscan.Use Google or Yahoo for that.

Most new TVs can fix this through the setup, it is hidden menus that have to be accessed in quirky ways but if you call the some video services you could get instructions for your particualr TV. It can be ways such as setting bass at lowest and discant at max and then pressing some other buttons or entering the menu and punch in some 4 digit code or something other similar. But inside these menus you can position the picture and some other features.
